Personal Injury: Auto, Motorcycle and Truck Accidents

If you are injured in an auto, motorcycle or truck accident please make sure you do the following:

  • Stop at the scene
  • Notify the police immediately
  • If possible, take photographs of the accident scene, and the vehicles: remember, most cell phones have a camera.
  • Within 21 days of the accident, file a report with the DMV if there was personal injury or property damage greater than $1,000.

Then obtain the following from all other parties involved in the accident:

  • Insurance information
  • Name
  • Address
  • Telephone numbers

If the other parties that are involved in the accident do not cooperate with your requests for the above information, notify the police immediately.

As soon as you leave the scene of the auto accident seek medical attention and take photographs of your injuries.

It is a lot to remember and do especially while under duress at the scene of an accident, but the more of the above that you are able to do the better a foundation for your personal injury compensation case.

Do not provide any information to your insurance adjuster without first discussing your accident with a personal injury attorney…call Personal Injury Attorney Michael Campopiano immediately.

The consultation is free-of-charge and Attorney Campopiano will visit your home or hospital bed if you are unable to be mobile...do not wait, call now!
